Product Owner [REMOTE]

About the Role:

Lune is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team. The Product Owner will be responsible for defining and managing the product roadmap, creating user stories, and ensuring that the development team is delivering high-quality products that meet the needs of our clients across UAE, KSA and Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, a strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, and excellent communication skills. Ideally, the candidate worked previously in a startup with a track record of product growth. You will be working closely with our Product Lead and clients to define what to prioritize and how to release across the different markets we currently serve.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with stakeholders to define product vision and strategy

• Define and prioritize product features and functionality based on user needs and business goals
• Create and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and estimated
• Collaborate with the scrum master to ensure that user stories are fully understood and that the team has the necessary information to develop value adding features for our clients
• Conduct user research, analyze user feedback, and use data to inform product decisions
• Monitor and report on product performance metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure that development work is on track and that the team is continuously improving

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience as a Product Owner, ideally in a B2B tech business

• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and practices especially Scrum and Kanban
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, developers, and other team members
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and prioritize competing demands
• Experience with user research and data-driven decision making
• Previous experience with SaaS and knowledge of APIs is a plus
• Knowledge of software development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ClickUp, Notion and Trell
